Basically a gravel parking lot with a couple of trash cans close to Carlsbad Caverns about 1400 feet off of the main highway <br /> <br />Oct 23, 2020: Very large area for free camping. Can fit any size rig in this enormous lot. Several tent sites but little to no grass, mostly rock. No hook ups but there is a large dumpster for trash. About 10 minutes from Carlsbad Caverns NP <br />Right off of Hwy 180 on Dillahunty Rd, about a hundred yards on the left
