Custer Gallatin National Forest near West Yellowstone MT - Lots of free campsites off this Denny Creek Rd along the lake. Lake access as well for swimming, fishing, etc. Starts as pavement, then goes to gravel. Official campground shortly after gravel but dispersed camping further down road.
