Bass Lake in Sierra National Forest near Wishon CA - This is a fully paved lot right on the lake with restrooms, trees and easy water & swimming access. You are allowed to park overnight in the section marked for overnight (boat) trailer parking. We were in a 20’ camper van. Spaces would fit maybe 24’ or so but not a lot bigger. It was quite nice for a parking lot. There are a couple picnic tables, flush toilet bathrooms, and room to set up chairs under trees by the lake. We had a small fire in a bbq. <br /> <br />Totally free. Seemed too good to be true! We parked in the front section at first and then security came through (we thought we were getting kicked out) and told us we just needed to move to the back end of the lot behind the sign that said “overnight trailer parking”.
