Comfort TX - There is a road that curves around the truckstop. On one side of the road is the truckstop. On the other side is a park of some kind. 18 wheeler trucks use this curved road as overflow overnight parking. We stayed at the intersection of the curved road and a small caliche road that appears to go into the park. It was great. Just the right combo of isolated (we saw several deer in the morning) and accessible. Numerous trucks were parked here so I am confident it is permitted. We last stayed in July, 2020 and will likely stay again.
