Port Aransas TX - Local city park that allows overnight fishing. No camping signs posted, however, I stayed here for three nights in a row with no problems. Security drove by numerous times, but didn’t stop or tell me to move. (Could be possible that they are being lenient due to vehicle traffic and overnight camping on the beach are not allowed at this time.) Safe, well-lit parking areas between the city marina and ferry dock. Restrooms available. Picnic tables available. Trash cans. Pet area with waste bags. No hookups. Electric outlet in restroom. Pretty quiet at night, even with the huge barges passing through. Most of the noise at night is waves crashing when the barges pass. Good fishing. Be sure to bring lots of mosquito spray!
