Spacious BLM area

About a mile from the north entrance of the WONDERFUL Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Vault toilet at the Ranger station about a mile away, plus sparse water at the ranger station. Really great location to base from to explore the north rim of this canyon. The approach road is dirt for a couple miles, but quite flat (but I didn't drive an RV, just a sedan with a tent). Zero AT&T cell phone signal in August 2020, but once we went around the south side of Crawford State Park, there were clear "Black Canyon" signs to follow for a few turns, which are really helpful. CR 77 comes up on your right (west side) and has a small street sign.
