In Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area near Melba ID - Free BLM land, campsites have a grill and benches, can camp on the road too. On the Snake River. Flies everywhere. Close enough to town that a troop of scouts showed up with 18 cars for a 5 camp site area 🙄. There is a building at the front of the park with bathrooms and an outside faucet. Lots of people bring horses out here, so watch your step and dont mind the smell. Coyotes at night got close enough that my dog smelled them from inside. No firearms discharge within camp area. Trailhead to Halverson lake.
