Very good gravel road turning north off Hwy 93 about 30 miles west of Caliente, NV. Road is not marked but it is wide, pretty smooth with only a little washboard on occasion. We stopped at the corrals 2.2 miles off the highway but there are other spots much closer to the highway if desired. Huge level areas with lots of room to maneuver. No shade. Looks like rough hiking nearby. <br />Temp at 7:30 pm was 75 degrees with a gentle breeze. Elevation is 5,100 ft. It had been 88 degrees at Pahranagat lakes about 45 minutes earlier. 6 June 2023. VERY Quiet…😴<br /><br />Oct 2023: Beware of the large amount of tumbleweed.
