General Information <br />Type of Recreation: Day-Use, Boating and Primitive Camping <br />State: Washington <br />County: Whitman <br />Administering Office: Lower Granite Natural Resources Office <br />Location: Lower Granite Lake, Snake River Mile 123, North River Bank. <br />Acreage: 8 Acres <br />Highway Directions: 15 miles west of Lewiston, Idaho, on state highway 193/Wawawai River Road. <br />Fire Restrictions: No wood fires June 10 through October 10. Charcoal and propane gas fires are acceptable. <br /> <br />Nisqually John Landing on the Snake RIver about 15 miles west of Lewiston, Idaho and Clarkston, Washington. It is on the north side of the river on State Highway 193/Wawawai River Road. Is a free site. <br /> <br />There are Covered Picnic tables and fire rings with grates. There is a pit toilet available. No potable water nor sewer dump. It is easily accessible off the highway by all types of vehicles. Charcoal and propane gas fires are acceptable year round. Wood fires after October 10 and before June 10. <br /> <br />Facilities Camping areas for tents and RV's. ADA Accessible, 1 lane boat launch ramp (no launch fee). Season and hours of Operation: Year round, with no specific hours of operation.
