Umpqua National Forest near Chemult OR- This was a great spot to pull off the main highway and stay the night DURING WINTER SEASON. The road to Diamond Lake is snowed in but has plenty of room to park for the night with a 30’ fifth wheel trailer and truck turn around. It is paved. We stayed here after checking out Crater Lake around April 15th and the lot was open for vehicles.
