Base camp for OHV trails in The High Sierra Ranger District. Accessible from Forest road 9SO9. RV access is best from Hwy. 168 and Tamarack Ridge. The road has some pot holes and going slow on the forest road is recommended. Always go slow through the signed sensitive area. There is a toilet on site but no other amnesties. Check the Forest service web site for special events held several times a year on the site.
